This Australian Boulder Opal has gorgeous contrast of colors with it's bright blues and greens, to the medley of soft and richer browns.

This stone has a wonderful mirror hand polished sheen and is a gorgeous necklace for a man, woman, boy or girl.

The distressed teal blue leather cord is 1.5mm and the clasp is a very sturdy and versatile Sterling Silver hook latch.

All hardware is made of either .935 Argentium or .925 Sterling Silver.

Boulder Opal is less delicate than other opals although is should be handled somewhat gently.

This Boulder Opal is solid and has no potch/ironstone back.

"Solid boulder opal is not usually affected by water. Opal jewelry can be cleaned on a regular basis. You should use mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth to wipe them down. Since opal is quite porous, you should also avoid the use of bleach, chemicals, cosmetics or household cleaners when wearing opal jewelry".
