This amazing piece is approximately 37.8 carats and it measures 32 x 15 x 8mm. It's the perfect size to be seen!
A unique feature about this stone is that the bail is hidden and carved into the stone itself. No worry of bail or jump ring polishing or breaking.
A stunning streak travels through the rich brown matrix like a brush stroke from a magical lightening strike leaving the deep bluish purple shimmering light embedded in the stone . Although the blue color doesn't cover the majority of the face of the stone, the extremely unique pattern combined with the vibrant colors couldn't be more stunning, even if it was planned that way.
With Boulder Opal, the dark ironstone matrix (background) emphasizes and naturally enhances the color.
This piece makes a striking, contemporary, raw statement of the strength and determination of a protector and leader, whether male or female!
This necklace makes a great gift and perfectly suits a strong yet "chill" personality that draws inspiration and comfort from the ocean and nature in general. It also suits an artistic and creative soul that thinks outside the box, likes unique and minimal in most everything that surrounds them and unknowingly inspires others to be true to themselves.
Boulder Opal represents serenity of the soul. Wearing these opals links the conscious and subconscious, representing clarity, understanding, and communication.
How to hang your Boulder Opal is your choice, of distressed blue, matte black or distressed brown premium leather cord, or a delicate but sturdy 1.4mm 16 or 18 inch Sterling Silver Chain.
Another option is the closure of the leather cord. Your choices are: 1)an adjustable leather cord which adjusts to approximately 16-24" with a sliding knot, or 2)a heavier stainless steel Lobster clasp closure, or 3)a medium sized Sterling silver closure (this is the closure pictured on the necklace)
The Silver chain will have a spring or lobster clasp.
If you would like a thicker or longer Silver Chain, simple message me. I have many more options that aren't listed in my shop and will be highly discounted with buying the Boulder Opal.
